Built in the 1860s in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, Église Saint-Augustin is a beautiful Catholic church that combines Romanesque and Tuscan Gothic architectural features. The stained glass windows portraying first-century martyrs and bishops, along with numerous paintings and sculptors adorn the beautiful interiors of the church. Designed by the French architect Victor Baltard, this 100-meter high church also hosts various events throughout the year attracting various locals. Initially built in order to provide an eminent panorama at the boulevard end, Église Saint-Augustin is worth a stop if you are in the neighborhood.
