Dating back to the 11th Century, the Eglise Sainte-Radegonde is a beautiful though small church in the village of Giverny. This church is an important reminder of how beautiful things can come in small packages and holds a special significance amongst art lovers. The church is home to the tomb of Oscar-Claude Monet; the founder of the French impressionist painting movement who is best remembered for portraying nature at its best on canvas. The Eglise Sainte-Radegonde serves as a shrine for art lovers and a cultural and historical landmark. The natural beauty of the church gardens is quite apt considering the fact that Monet thrived on painting natural spaces.

Lovely inspiring church
Pretty small church, Monet's tomb is at the middle of the ascent.
Apesar do enorme simbolismo que reside neste espaço, encontramos um local mal conservado, e uma igreja que em horário nobre de fim de semana, estava de portas encerradas ! Vou acreditar que não passou de uma lamentável coincidência.
