Hon's Wok, Saint Louis Reviews
I’ve never given a negative google review but I feel people should know the experience I had. I wish I could give ZERO stars!!! I ordered through Grubhub, never received an update on my order then got a call over an hour after I placed my order saying they were out of the soup that came with my meal. An hour and a half after my order was placed a guy who works at Hons Wok called saying he was unable to find our house which was hard to believe because I’ve never had someone have a hard time finding my house. $5 delivery fee plus tip & you have to call so we can help you find us?!? We were looking forward to the meal we waited so long for and to our surprise it was the worst Chinese food we’ve ever had! My food was so BADLY BURNT, VERY SALTY & unable to eat. There were also small pieces of bones in it! I called the restaurant & the girl who answered the phone yelled to the kitchen or the manager and I heard them all yelling amongst each other. I got offered 1 free meal ($5-6.....who cares) for my next order although I will NEVER order from here again. Worst food I’ve ever had delivered.....they shouldn’t have allowed this food to leave their kitchen. HORRIBLE experience overall!
I ordered a meal through Hons wok through post mates and my post mates delivery and order went smoothly. However the restaurant messed up my order and when I contacted them about correcting it all the moment had to tell me was is that I needed to blame post mates in order for them to go back and get my correct items. She would not send someone to bring me my correct items that I paid for and then when I asked her to put my name on a list of possible get an order the next time I order through them, she hung up the phone on me several times and refused to answer me. I'm all about people making mistakes and giving them a second chance but after that type of management style and treating of customers I Guarantee I will not be ordering from hons wokagain.
Above average place. Doesn't knock my socks off, but it's way better than its nearby competitors. The dumplings in the spicy oil are my favorite: delicious.
I used to order from them at least twice a week about five years ago, but I left the state. I returned and was excited about ordering there and have been disappointed every time, which has been 4-5 times. I'm throwing in the towel and won't be returning. It's not worth the wait.
Ordered pad ti it literally looked like a dog vomited on a plate! It smelled terrible and tasted worse. The noodles were way over cooked and tasted sour. The shrimp was hard and the lady was a hateful b!@#% !!!!my husband ordered fried rice and when they said fried they went joking ..it was burnt and dry! The crab Rangoon tasted old. They were stale and fried in old grease . This place needs to be shut down ! The Chinese lady behind the counter over charged me 😤😲 and was hateful with a black man raising her voice at him. Saying she was out of bread and eggs ... if you are out of the main fu@#ing things that go in your food you need to be closed for ever. They are predjusist raciest people I will be calling Bbb.
