Vintage style that feels fresh. Good food and good service. Even has a movie theater in the lobby. Valet parking. Relaxing. Prime location for walking to many amenities -- park, restaurants, church, museums, shops, bars.
I have been coming to the Chase for the past 15 years. Why? Because it is a historic hotel, it has wonderful amenities (3 retaurants, a movie theater, a gift shop that has just about anything you could want, valet parking, a concierge floor, suite rooms, a well appointed exercise room, a pool, spa and so much more). We come every year for the Thanksgiving Brunch, which is well priced and the food is delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful for the moment you pull up to the entrance to the time when you check out. The hotel is located in the Central West End in St. Louis, so you also have a great neighborhood to explore that has great shops and restaurants to enjoy. I highly hey recommend the Chase Park Plaza to anyone, anytime you come to St. Louis.
Nice. It has a lot to offer...location, amenities, dining and drinking, movies. They are about to start a lobby remodel, so that will likely improve the lobby area a bit. When sitting at the bar in Preston and at the Tenderloin room, I inquired about the absence of music, which seemed odd. The bartender at Preston turned it up (on?), which was great. In the Tenderloin room, we were told the speakers sometimes don't work. Also, in places, there were many lights either burned out or not on, which indicates a lack of attention to detail. Still, we had a nice time and our room was comfortable.
This elegant city hotel finds itself right in the bustling Central West End and a five minute walk from the sprawling Forest Park. The luxury hotel has 389 rooms, an outdoor pool, a spa, and a cinema. The restaurant offers fantastic local flavors in modern styles, and the service from the hotel is exceptional. One of the best hotels in St. Louis, if not the entire Midwest.
An overall good hotel. The building itself is a bit old. Also not very modern. I'd like to be able to swipe into my room with my phone. But the hotel does have its perks. There is a MASSIVE gym here. It was once used for a sporting event ? And there's a nice pool, an indoor movie theater, an indoor barber, etc. So you feel like your taken cared of. The lounge is also average, I'd like better lounge food options for either members.
