Attraction was interesting for our young kids, coming up close with various horse breeds and especially the horse and pony rides. Plenty of space to roam and run. We did not come on a day/time with any events so can't comment on that but this venue will create new experiences, particularly for little ones.
This was an amazing find, €5 per adult children free. None of the talks or demonstration were in English, however, we were given an English guide and the staff tried hard to include is where appropriate. The main reason for the 5 🌟 review is the quality of the 3 horse shows, each had a different focus. The first was a circus inspired, using Shetland ponies. The second one was ballet between a rider on horseback and a girl on the ground. The last was spectacular, it defies explanation mixing humour and dance alongside history and drama telling the history of horses in the area.
Good place if you like horses
Interesting place, you can enjoy the park and architecture, amble around the stables and get quite close to the horses. They organise a number of events throughout the year, with jumping, dressage, etc as well as some spectacles, all about horses. Well worth a visit, possibly two. You may wonder, when you get there, whether it's open or where the ticket booth is. The answer is, just push the gate. It's open and there are no tickets. It's free!
Excellent family day out
