Arctic And Antarctic Museum - Review
This museum in Saint Petersburg is dedicated to artifacts and exhibits about the arctic and Antarctic circles. Originally established in 1930, the museum only opened its gates to the public six years later.
The museum holds the current record for being the largest museum dedicated to the arctic and Antarctic expeditions. Housed in a neoclassical church built by Avraam Melnikov, it is advised that people check out this museum for a lesson in human power of will and determination and also for an insider’s look at the polar explorations.

Arctic And Antarctic Museum, Saint Petersburg Reviews
Great place with a bit of Soviet atmosphere. Museum is rather old, but the expos are of interest to everyone I'd say. Only cash, no cards, sadly. Very friendly staff (but I'm not sure they speak English, although, who knows!).
Wonderful museum with a soviet touch. It should never change, it's the best time travel machine.
Museum itself is nice, however very small amount of english translations.
Quite interesting exposition, but museum is very old fashioned. Credit cards are not accepted. You can pay only by cash
Amazing museum that will make you want to run away and explore the Arctic.
