The Pontifical University of Salamanca is not exactly a tourist attraction but a vital part of the City of Salamanca and thus tourists like to visit it to gain some knowledge about the country in all. This is a private Catholic university. It was formed at the time when the Renaissance movement was reaching its heights. It was when the old school faculty was merged with the new era teachers to form an explosion of talent and experience that lead to the making of this university. The old university is now degrading in all aspects and need immediate attention of the authorities to save the pride of such an old institution.
