By plane: You can reach Salem by plane, to itsclosest airport Logan International Airport in Boston. Boston lies at 20 miles from Salem. The Beverly Municipal Airportat 15 minutes from the town, is another small handy airport. It is Logan’s flagship airport, in times of peak traffic.
By train: Lying at a very short distance from the city centre, the Salem station can be reached via the Newburyport/Rockport line on the MBTA Commuter Rail.
By boat: There are high-speed catamaran services available between Salem and Central Wharf, Boston at the New England Aquarium.
