National Park Service Regional Visitor Center Reviews & Ratings
Awesome is a really cool spot to visit. Beware, there are several areas that are safe but have homeless people asking for money. A few of them got a little ornery with us because we had already given money away but not to them.
Excellent resource for figuring out what to do while in Salem. The two movies that are shown at the visitors center are excellent for telling the history about Salem. It's more than the witch trials.
This is such a great resource, a great place to sit and get a game plan on what and how you want to see. My advice is plan on being in salem right when everything opens, dress in layers, and make your traveling time efficient.
I love Salem! Can't wait to go back!
Received great information here from volunteers. Great place to start before walking around town
