  • At the discount rate we paid it was as expected; wouldn't be keen on paying full price. Was expecting shared bathroom and toilet, although would have helped if there was more than one of each on the floor we were on. Bed linen very clean. A very good, quiet nights sleep. Didn't partake of the breakfast so cannot comment on that. Would stay here again.

  • P Nia: I booked this hotel due to my exam in Manchester university, very busy area, windows are very old fashioned and you can hear whatever drunk people are saying on there road with details beside of the noises from the neighbourhood, music sounds doesn't let you to sleep till midnight. And after midnight in the hotel you can hear someone is entering to the room, in and out continu then toilet then all over again and again and again. There is no time for you to sleep. One toilet and shower room for sharing! No lighting on the stairs ! Bed was out of order , nobody could sleep on that bed ,in that room. I believe this is not a hotel and not even a B&B ,its under the basic standard. So please don't fool yourself and don't book this room because it's cheap,it's not bargain at all and also it is very unhealthy and you might loose many other better options and also if you are going for an important exam or interview please don't make the same mistake as I made.

  • Pie minister pub. Pies are blast heated and so served quickly. We went on a day with fridge mishap and limited menu availability due to this. My colleagues enjoyed the moo and moo and blue pies, but I was severely disappointed with the Mexican summer special. Cheap meat with grisly bits.

  • Great for some real ale. So handy as accommodation for central Manchester

  • Horrible customer service. I booked in 3am saturday told them i would be staying untill sunday morning. I went to a wedding, but when I came back to my room , all my belongings were in a black bag at the dumbster. The managers excuse was they had to get the room ready for someone else.. This was contrary to the initial arrangement. The manager insisted i left as other guest were coming soon. I had a baby with me.Terrible way to handle customers. GO TO TRAVEL LODGE!!!
