  • For the price we paid, I was expecting the rooms to be a little bit more nicer than what they actually were. The photos of the rooms on the website are old and must be from when the rooms were brand new and freshly refurbished. We had filthy walls, a tv that didn't work, our window wouldn't open. The shower was mouldy, and the bathroom door handle was completely broken. Fortunately, the toilets are very clean, comfy beds, very friendly staff, it's decent enough to stay for one night and in a great location near the arena. A tent is probably better.

  • Rooms were very old. Door didn’t lock from the inside. The chair was disgustingly dirty & the pillows were flatter than pancakes. Very hard to sleep with such an uncomfortable bed. Pub only served pies, no chips or snacks.. just pies. On the plus side the staff were lovely!

  • Good overnight hotel if you're in Manchester to see a band, the rooms are basic but the price more than reflects that. Good pub bar downstairs as well.

  • Horrid. I only used this place to sleep one night. The only good point was the bed linen was clean. The mattress was very uncomfortable and filthy I've seen cleaner ones dumped in country lanes. This mattress looked older than me and seen 10x more activity. The bed base was broken, only support for the mattress was a strip of wood at each end and the middle. This room is not worth a star pity I cannot give it a minus. In all my 70 years this is the pits. I've stayed in loads of placed across the world this is the worst the most disgusting vomit worthy.

  • P Nia: I booked this hotel due to my exam in Manchester university, very busy area, windows are very old fashioned and you can hear whatever drunk people are saying on there road with details beside of the noises from the neighbourhood, music sounds doesn't let you to sleep till midnight. And after midnight in the hotel you can hear someone is entering to the room, in and out continu then toilet then all over again and again and again. There is no time for you to sleep. One toilet and shower room for sharing! No lighting on the stairs ! Bed was out of order , nobody could sleep on that bed ,in that room. I believe this is not a hotel and not even a B&B ,its under the basic standard. So please don't fool yourself and don't book this room because it's cheap,it's not bargain at all and also it is very unhealthy and you might loose many other better options and also if you are going for an important exam or interview please don't make the same mistake as I made.
