Strong House of Reignac also known as Maison Forte de Reignac is a manor house located in Tursac. It is built entirely out of stone and looks magnificent and ancient. It is believed that the exterior part of this manor was constructed in the 14th century. The windows and the doors were added in the 16th century. However this place has provided shelter to human beings since prehistoric times. The museum within the house is absolutely stunning and is home to a plethora of artifacts ranging from the prehistoric times to the last century. It is interesting to walk through these rooms which have wooden walls and ceilings. In addition to this, the place houses a museum of torture and contains over 60 objects and devices used to torture people through the ages.
