Salzburg has three outdoor swimming pools, and this one is the largest. And it is an absolute tonne of fun. The slide is 72 meters long, there’s a high jump tower, a mini golf course, spots to sunbathe, a beach volleyball court, and table tennis facilities. And the whole place is prettified by palm trees, islands and fountains.  In other words, it’s an all in one simple family leisure attraction. You walk away from here feeling as if every city in the world should have one such place. The place is obviously much more popular with the locals than the tourists, but the absence of gawkers with cameras is refreshing.
