    One of the best clubs on the island with TV screens and comfortable lounge chairs (if you prefer to sit back, relax or look after your friends’ belongings). Don’t worry about the cover charge, you will get it back considering the price of their cocktails.

    Found in the central part of the island, this small town is one of the most traditional spots on San Andrés. The island’s first Baptist church was built here in 1847. The church was rebuilt in 1896, mainly with pine from Alabama.

    Considered by many to be the highlight of the island, this tiny coral islet is surrounded by a white-sand beach and sheltered by coconut groves. It’s a great place to sunbathe, but make sure you’re a good swimmer as currents are strong.

    San Luis has white-sand beaches and gorgeous traditional wooden houses. It is also a great place to snorkel but it can get a little bit rough. Located on a less developed part of the island, it is a great alternative to the town.
  8. Hoyo Soplador

    Hoyo Soplador is a small geyser where sea water spews out into the air (as high as 20m) through a natural hole in the rock. You can only see the phenomenon when the winds and tides are right.
