About Seaworld San Antonio, San Antonio

This is a wonderland, so I won’t waste time glorifying it further. Lets just get down to the facts. It’s the largest marine-themed park in the world – set out over 250 acres. It’s bag of goodies is evenly distributed over marine animals shows (Dolphins, Beluga Whales, Killer Whales and water stunts), animal exhibits (sea birds, Penguins, Sharks, Seals, Otters, Sea Lions and Walruses), rides (including Steel Eel, a Hypercoaster, and Journey to Atlantis), a bunch of kiddie rides at the Sesame Street Bay of Play and last but not least, some terrific seafood dining options.

In the the Summers you can catch some pretty neat shows like Shamu Rocs Texas and Sea Lions Tonite. At Halloween you can catch Howl-O-Scream and a new vampire themed bar called Blood Thirsty.

  • You would think this park would provide individuals and their families a sense of security when they visit, but they don't. They charge $20 for parking yet your vehicle is not secure by any means. I can't believe this place has no cameras especially with the high numbers of burglaries that occur there ( I was informed of this information after my vehicle was burglarized while I was there at broad daylight). They did not have security patrolling the lots as I was also informed of this. They know people with out of state tags are targeted but they have not done anything to prevent people from being victims of a crime. I will never go back to this place. It is a shame that my children had to experienced this traumatic event. Shame on you Sea World!!! Get some freaking cameras installed!!!!

  • Love the experience we had at sea world my kids loved every show we could not get them out of the Elmo water park but enjoyed every minute. There is not enough time in the day to enjoy the park but we made the best of it. We had went to the restaurant right next to the alligator experience, food was great but it was very much disorganized and the male employee was rude while checking us out. Other than that my family and I had a great time

  • Great place to go on vacation and has some good shows to see especially the whales and sea otters. Unfortunately, the water park on the other side of SeaWorld had only four main water slides and two regular pools. I expected a bit more slides but overall it was a great time

  • I am a combat injured vet in a wheelchair. I took my seven year old to Sea World over the weekend like I usually do. She is tall enough to go on the rides by herself but I "walk" with her till I cannot go any farther. She wanted to go on the RIO LOCO which is the water ride that you sit in the huge round doughnut that floats around a small man made river. We both went through then entrance where the employee stands to check the height of the riders. after making it a few feet past him, I heard someone tell me to comeback. I turned around and wheeled back to him only to be told I had to leave the ride area. I couldn't believe I was hearing this correctly so I asked him to repeat what he had said. He only fit people where allowed to cross the line and proceed over the bridge. he also added that anything with wheels isn't allowed. I was in total disbelief, I have never been kicked out from somewhere due to my wheelchair. I then went to a cash register about twenty yards away and asked them to call a supervisor. five minutes later this young lady in a yellow shirt approached and ask me if she could help me. I told her everything that was said and she replied that it must be for my own safety. I have never been kicked out of anything because I am in a wheelchair until that. Thanks Sea World way to be military friendly!!!
