Italian food served at Cucina urbana will definitely take you down to the streets of Italy. Have a mushroom pizza and you will go gaga over the place and the quality presented. Not to forget the pastas are finger licking good. Tagliatelli and bucatini are outstanding. Burnt Brussels sprouts, stuffed squash flowers, lemon verbena, octopus and many other dishes are prepared with lots of perfection and love. The collection of wines here is great which goes very well with the dishes you order. Enjoy the meal in a stylish ambience and spot on service.

  • Came here with coworkers for dinner and we had a party of five. The place had a fresh unique feel to it; great ambience. We had steak, pasta dishes, and a handful of apps. Not a single item was bad, so not going to write in-depth about any single one. Everything from the food to the service was spot on and worth the trip. Very happy with the recommendation from a friend.

  • Favorite place in San Diego. Kevin is the best waiter in the universe. Food is packed full of flavor. Kids can make their own pizza. This place is always packed...highly recommend.

  • Casual dining in an attractive space with very good Italian food overall plus a number of perfect 10's on the menu waiting to be discovered and savored. No surprise that Cucina recently received a Michelin "honorable mention". Last Sunday night the place was busy, the crowd diverse, the vibe family friendly with just the right hint of sophistication to satisfy just about everyone. If you've been there you know what I mean. If you haven't, it is definitely worth a try.

  • First time coming here and I was amazed. The food is next level, we tried different things from salad, pasta, pizza & drinks and it's was outstanding! The place looks well designed and rustic! Service was great, overall I was happy. Good place for bday's, anniversaries, date nights, etc!
