The location is curious - La Jolla Elementary School - but it works. Every Sunday morning one of San Diego's liveliest Farmer's Markets sees a horde of families, students and tourists return to school. Their objective? To get the best produce before anyone else can. Cheeses, veggies, seafood, other meats, coffee, crepes, dessert, and various cuisines from around the world are on for sale. Also for sale are some cool arts and crafts - jewelry, paintings and clothes. Altogether there around 140 vendors. All proceeds go to La Jolla Elementary School.

La Jolla Open Aire Market Reviews & Ratings
Great Food. Its mostly open air food vendors, not really a farmers market. I don't think I saw a single stand that was just selling actual produce. The closest was a booth selling honey combs in jars of honey. Some good handmade stuff and random things like Tupperware.
Great place to get food on a Sunday morning.
Very small farmers market. Mostly produce and food trucks. Few artisan and craft booths. Not enough vendor variety. Only took 30 minutes to walk through.
Good selection of local goods. Breads were good. Hummus also.
By far the best farmers market of all of those that I have visited. The only other one that compsares with food selection is the one in Kalamazoo Michigan. Good food good produce and other items so whenever you are in La Jolla go and experience it.
