About Las Americas Premium Outlets, San Diego
Bargain hunters and shopholics will love the 560,000 square feet or retail space here. There are about 125 stores altogether, including factory outlets for New Balance, Nike, Banana Republic, Ann Taylor and Brooks Brothers. It's almost guaranteed that you'll find a 20-60% discount on everything. Shoe and jewellery shopping is especially popular. Plus, the mall is a lovely place to hang out in even if you're not shopping-fountains and sculptures and pretty buildings. The people watching is great too.
Fun fact: head to the south of the building and look past the river. That's Mexico.

Great outdoor mall/outlet center very good deals most of the time, especially holiday weekends. Outlets have a huge variety of stores with clean facilities. Food court has good/decent fast food options but a relatively small seating area for the size of the outlets, usually takes time to find available seating. Overall great place to take the family even has a kid's playground inside the shopping center. Worth a visit if you find yourself in the area.
Lots of great name brand shops, with a good variety. Just wish they kept that Toy Store with all the model cars and airplanes. They usually had stuff you couldnt find anywhere else. You will have to battle the border traffic though.
If you are looking for name brand clothing, but don't want to pay name brand pricing, then this a place for you. This place is big, clean and well managed. Tons of free parking, easy access to the freeways and above all, it is safe. Lots of security. I go here often and have never had any problems or seen any issues. It is a very well run outlet center. I found that it does take some time to find decent clothing. Many of the stores only stock the leftover sizes that the main stores can't sell. At times you can find $100 - $300 or more name brand clothing for 50% to 90% off. Worth you time to stop by and spend a few hours walking around. Plenty of places to get a quick bite or sit down for a nice meal.
Will never ever, ever turn down an opportunity to come here. The best outlets in San Diego hands down. If you need/want it they got it. Most stores still have outlet prices too. Carlsbad use to be the best but may as well pay retail. Saturdays are INSANE. Holidays are INSANE plan accordingly. However, will be worth your while.
A bit crowded but for good reason. This place has some of the biggest names in retail with prices that can beat just about anywhere else you look. You never know what treasures you'll find.
