AT 162 acres, the reservoir isn't very large, but it is perfect for the joggers, cyclers and picnickers who make use of its edges. For their service there are a number of picnic tables and barbeques spots provided. A paved pathway runs for nearly 5 miles around the lake. Once you purchase permits for it from the electronic pay station or the iron ranger box, you're allowed to take a boat out into the water to fish in it. The variety is rich - bass, bluegill, channel catfish, and sunfish. There are several fishing docks if you want to angle from land.
