  • LUV this beach!! Weekend it's crowded. Weekdays the the beach is empty quite and so relaxing. Also this beach have about 31/2 miles long boardwalk. It's concrete and they called Oceanfront Boardwalk. I recommend you to go see how this place it's so beautiful relaxing peaceful. It's also clean. -:)

  • It's a nice long Boardwalk. To walk along with your self, your lover, your friends our family., bicycle ride, scooter ride, skateboard are rollerblade or jogging. There's a lot to see on the boardwalk and a lot of people to see and meet there and a good place to watch a beautiful sunset when the night is clear I recommend it highly maybe you might see me there God willing.

  • Always one of my favorite beaches. Good sand for the kids, lots of waves and tons of room. Unlike other beaches in the area this beach is very long and wide so you can spread out. Not much for shells though. Also there is always lifeguards on wave runners. Very crowded at spring break but other then that just as busy as you think a beach would be.

  • Sunset is beautiful and very peaceful here! Many families are outing here for water sports or enjoy ocean atmosphere simply. My kid loves this place and literally visit three times in a raw during our itineary. There is a public restroom as well as out door shower to rinse your sands off on lifeguard building.

  • Great boardwalk early in the morning for a jog, run, skateboard, or surf between Pacific Beach and Mission Beach. (1) Several homeless; (2) a lot of kelp (seaweed) during the season; (3) surfing is better up by Pacific Beach (4) not really child friendly, but adolescent friendly with parent supervision; and (5) a lot of false positives metal detecting. However, you can always find people sitting in front of their beachfront houses willing to chat. Look for Slomo, he is the one rollerblading in slow motion! - he is an amazing human being.
