The Fashion Valley Shopping center in San Diego’s old town is a very popular shopping area in the city. The place is famous as a hub for shopaholics with top brands as well as smaller stores finding a place amongst its display. The best part about the place is that the walking area is open air which makes it very beautiful, especially when lit up under the starry night sky. It is a must visit to take in this awesome atmosphere.
Like any mall you will find a lot of things to do here, from delicious food to interesting activities to do, the mall is a fun place to hang out not just for the locals but also the tourists. But the main attraction of this place is the shopping. Shopaholics will love the spacious mall that has everything under the sun. It’s a one stop place for all your needs. There is also a huge theatre where you can catch a film after a long day of shopping.

This is one of my favorite places to shop in the San Diego area. I just really like the look and feel of it. Department store selection is great. I just wish there were a few more options for electronics. There can be a lot of traffic getting into the mall but usually there's plenty of parking.
Great outdoor mall with very high end stores and restaurants. Most everyone is dressed up or dressed fashionable. Even if you don't buy anything, it has a nice atmosphere just to walk around.
I have not been to Fashion Valley forever... Coming back for a visit from Pacific Northwest, I was glad to see how wonderfully it has grown, and became even more beautiful. Many new stores I could not approach with a 10-foot pole, but there are still some old favorites. It is nice to see a good place booming.
I seldom shop here, but it's a treat when I do. I love the Cheesecake Factory, J C Penney's, Kay Jewelers and the food court. The decor is always so interesting and modern. My only wish is that the parking wasn't so difficult.
I primarily shop at this mall for all my clothes in person. I'm a guy and I can find good deals here on a regular occasion, which has been rare for me for malls. If you park higher on the parking structures you can get into the mall quicker and get out quicker. For men, I recommend Zara, Express, Macy's, and H&M for good deals.
