Qualcomm Stadium Reviews & Ratings
This stadium needs a full renovation asap! The stadium is old, falling apart, and needs to be demolished and a new stadium be built. This would help bring back a professional NFL to San Diego and make the Aztec football games more enjoyable. The plus side is the stadium is a designated trolley stop, so it's very easy to navigate yourself to and from this stadium.
After working several college football games and that awful Beyonce and Jay-Z concert last year at a concession stand, I can only comment on how degraded the building has become in its age. Also, only thing actually truly "fresh" here is the beer and bottled soda/water. The food is absolutely disgusting and obviously has been frozen past sell by date. I truly feel bad for being the one to sell that junk to people who deserve much better.
Been coming to SDCCU Stadium since it was Jack Murphy Stadium in the early 70's. Of course it is dated, but it has character. I am a San Diego fan. Seen a lot here. Always have fun TAILGATING!!! BIG parking lot, plenty of room. If you've never been, check out an Aztec game. Tonight was the sky show. Awesome, as always.
To be honest it reminds me of a post apocalyptic Mad Max scene but.... In a distant corner far far away you will find a brilliant well maintained soccer field. If you get the chance try the other football (;
Great place for having events. I went here with my schools marching band for a combined play with sdsu and it was great. It's also great for sports events.
