Seaport village is a great sport to hang out in San Diego. It is popular with the tourists for its shopping. There are several souvenir shops as well as other interesting stores that are all included in this vibrant area. Clothing, Jewellery and Souvenirs are the three items that you will find in an amazing array in this place.

The restaurants are plentiful and almost all of them offer a wonderful sea-view that is not to be missed. Do try out the fresh fish if you love sea food. There is also a vintage carousel called the Looff Carousel. There is also an arcade which will be an ideal place to take older children to.  It is certainly a very unique experience to be had. The waterfront is a great place to take a long leisurely walk on. Go here for a fun and relaxing even out with friends or family. This beautiful place will not disappoint you.

A place with lots of tourists and souvenir shops. There is some street performers but not many. There is also many seafood restaurants here. It is nicer to visit at night where you can see views of the city lights.

  • Great place! Lots of different activities that make it easy to spend the day here. Really enjoyed all of the little unique shops and cute buildings. There were also lots of street performers and live music to enjoy. Several different food options as well so don't worry about packing a lunch! We were lucky enough to be staying within walking distance of the area so I am not sure on the accessibility of parking. Would recommend if you are visiting the city!

  • Cool and calm place in downtown with many good restaurants around. A beautiful spot to spend a relaxing night. It looks like a small city market. Parking is free after 8 pm till 10 30 pm. Famous for Mexican food. Very lively place. There is beautiful view of Coronado bridge from here which looks stunning at night when it is lit with colors.

  • We discovered Seaport Village when we needed to catch the trolley for a tour. One side of the village has more open businesses than the other. It is also my understanding Seaport Village was purchased and will go through renovation. It's a nice place to park, not free, and walk along the waterfront. It's not a far walk to the Midway. The Seaport Village itself has several restaurants, shops, and desserts sure to please everyone. If you take a walk down by the marina where the hotels are there's even a winery that offers wine tasting on certain days. Plenty of places to sit and take in the sites whether you want sun or shade and plenty of public restrooms too. There's also a very old carousel there open limited hours that's beautiful view. They definitely don't make them like that any longer. Be sure to read it's history and how it found it made it's way to San Diego.

  • Shopping in an outdoor park setting on the waterfront. Good variety of souvenirs, tshirts and summer shoes. Love the kite shop/toy store. I always take visitors here. You can shop, eat, drink and relax. Good for any age. Plenty of close parking, validated in the stores. All day experience. A few empty stores currently but hopefully something new will open.

  • This is a great place to visit and explore. Very pleasant grounds, next to the majestic waterfront. Experience many of the items, art, music and food that San Diego has to offer. Find yourself submerged in a pleasant experience. Adequate for kids, teens and adults alike. This is a must experience if you are a visit to the city. Be sure to come with enough time to explore, as place has tons of shops to be explored, and activities to take part in.
