Seaport Village - Review

Seaport village is a great sport to hang out in San Diego. It is popular with the tourists for its shopping. There are several souvenir shops as well as other interesting stores that are all included in this vibrant area. Clothing, Jewellery and Souvenirs are the three items that you will find in an amazing array in this place.

The restaurants are plentiful and almost all of them offer a wonderful sea-view that is not to be missed. Do try out the fresh fish if you love sea food. There is also a vintage carousel called the Looff Carousel. There is also an arcade which will be an ideal place to take older children to.  It is certainly a very unique experience to be had. The waterfront is a great place to take a long leisurely walk on. Go here for a fun and relaxing even out with friends or family. This beautiful place will not disappoint you.

  • Absolutely love this place. 30 years ago my grandma took me here and I was so happy to see a lot of the same stores are still open. They have a fantastic kite shop and a tile store that has a huge selection of specialty tiles. Beautiful gardens and a path right next to the harbor. Such a beautiful place to walk around and a great restaurant right over the water.

  • Cute shops and good food. Many of the shops have fragile items. Only a few shops are kid friendly. The kite store in particular was a huge hit. The toys in there for outdoors are great additions and affordable. Also the staff guy was so cool, he let us play with everything in the store, will return! Tip: bring your parking pass in to stores to be validated if you end up buying anything!

  • So cute and quaint. You really get the nautical vibe here. The greenery is so refreshing. There are even ducks and a cute pond! There is a Christmas store and pirate themed store that was very neat. Some of the restaurants were beautiful and it was very close to a lot of popular areas!

  • So much charm. Hopefully someone will preserve the essence of this place. The book store has maintained the character of this Village. Would be nice if others followed. Wish I'd seen it pre-tourist attraction. Still so much to love!

  • A cute area to walk around. It's very romantic and great for kids too. A lot of tourists come here. It's a great spot for pictures and watching the sunset. I wish there wasn't many homeless people there. They are in the park or by the parking lot.
