  • Love this place! It's great you go in get some coffee and play with cat, which by the way are adoptable! So if you fall in love with you you can apply to possibly tale it home! How great! Adopt don't shop.

  • I used to bus an hour+ here just to play with the kitties! Now I have a cat of my own so I don't venture as much but the Cat Cafe still holds a very fond place in my heart. It is one of the top places I recommend people visiting in San Diego because of how cute and nicely put together everything is. Love the cats, drinks and pastries and excited to see the new patio!

  • It's a bit of a novelty to have a cup of coffee and hang out with cats. In order to be in the cat room, they require that you purchase a drink or other item for every person in your party. Snack treats were $3 and up--quite pricey for something that would usually sell for $1.50. The cats seem happy although there were a few feisty ones. There were no convenient trash cans or extra napkins in the cat room. They had two tables and a few benches. Parking is tough, so be prepared with patience.

  • During my vacation, I was missing my cats. I have no children, so that explains that. We accidentally came upon this cafe when taking a wrong turn and vowed to go for breakfast before our last day. Go we did! Early, so we were alone with the cats for a bit, enjoying our coffee and bread. That cost was our only fee here, and we were sad that we live so far away that we couldn't adopt one special lap cat named Boo. Don't go if you are averse to hairballs. One of those came up, but staff cleaned it immediately.

  • The coffee shop is just ok, very basic. The obvious appeal here isn't the coffee obviously, it's the cats. They appear well taken care of and it's fun to hang out and interact. I appreciate that the staff in the cat area are actually knowledgeable and seem to care about the animals.
