The Kebab Shop Mission Valley Reviews & Ratings
Great food. It was my first time eating here, and definitely won't be the last. There was a minor hiccup with our order. Jordan the crew chief and his staff were able to correct it and make it right with out skipping a beat. The staff overall was great, friendly and vary helpful. 🙌
The food here is really delicious. The spicy cilantro sauce is good on nearly everything, but goes extremely well with the carved beef/lamb and rice. Also, if you order platters for catering you get a ton of food at a really reasonable cost.
Amazingly delicious food. The chicken kebab box is a must buy. I'll never forget the first time I ate at the Kebab Shop... I was nothing less than impressed by the awesome food, friendly atmosphere, and professionalism of the staff. It quickly became a new favorite spot of mines. I've been back several times and it tastes exceedingly amazing time and time again. A hidden gem but a must have delectably choice of Mediterranean cuisine.
So, this may seem a little harsh, but as someone who is a big fan of schwarma, gyro, and kebabs I was a tad underwhelmed. It wasn't bad, but I definitely don't think it was worth spending 11 dollars on. The chicken was in chunks, not shredded off a kebab, the garlic yogurt wasn't very flavorful, and neither was the spicy sauce. It was more like eating a chicken salad wrap than a Mediterranean kebab. That being said the staff was really friendly, and helpful!
Every year that goes by this place eliminates more food options. I remember when they used to have shrimp and salmon and carrots. They've gotten so basic and boring. Staff is usually nice but I go less often due to menu changes.
