The New Childrens Museum Reviews & Ratings
Visited on a Sunday while we were vacationing. This museum is so neat and there is something for children of all ages. An exploratory area for crawlers, a room full of mattresses and pillows, an indoor sand box, pottery area, and a giant net for the kids to crawl into to name a few. I wish we had this museum in my state - I'd have a membership for sure. The cafe inside serves nutritious food and it was tasty. A great, creative space for all.
Absolutely fantastic kid's museum! They have set up a really great environment for exploration and imagination. There are several rooms over the floors full of creative things to do. The emphasis is on imagination and creativity rather than science and history, and my kids had a blast. The exhibits are unique and cool. They stress hands on activity, and there are some guided activities in the maker lab. There is pay parking nearby, and military members can get in free through the Blue Star Museum program. This was a great way to spend the hours on a weekend.
What a neat place! Lots of toys and happy kids. Nice food options and nice selection of areas for kids to play. Place is clean and staff is friendly and interact with the children well.
My sister was in town with her two kids and we were looking for a day out of the sun for the kids. They are 2 and 5. We could have stayed here all day. They kids were having so much fun. The 5 year old loved the tree house area, finding all the secret little rooms and things to climb on. The 2 year old was just having a blast running around, playing with the scarves and crocheted donuts. My sister also said this is the best children’s museum she’s been to and she lived in NYC and Chicago. Go San Diego!
From the price to get in, the prices in the Cafe to the experience your kids enjoy. I will go back again and again. The place is clean the staff is very friendly. Thank you so much
