Torrey Pines Golf Course - Review
The Torrey Pines Golf Course, is a great place to try your hand at this sport of the elite. Located over beautiful vales and picturesque hills, this municipal golf course is a real sight to see.
With 18 holes in two separate courses, you can enjoy a leisurely afternoon at the tee enjoying the scenery while playing this sport that requires both patience and precision. It isn’t far from San Diego so you will reach in less than 20 minutes. The best part about the golf course is the amazing views of the neighbouring sea that it provides. On a sunny afternoon the golf greens contrast beautifully with the sea not far from here. If you are a newbie stick to the North Course though. The south Course is known to test even the seasoned golfers but you can always take a whack at it. The place is perfect for business tourism or even a day out with family or friends.

Torrey Pines Golf Course, San Diego Reviews
Grab you clubs and get out here and play. Enjoy the course that even challenges the pros! The views are beautiful and the entire experience will be like a perfect vacation day! Go ahead...you deserve a day on this course for sure! Hit em' long & hit em' straight! Don't forget the pro shop. Great stuff for sure!
What can I say... It's Torrey Pines Golf Course! I've got a San Diego resident card and it ran me $62 (which is great), but to rent a cart was $40. We played Torrey South and loved it. The guy we paired with was from out of town and he paid $204 just to give you an idea. If you're an avid golfer, this course is a must. The pic is the 3rd hole, par 3.
My best friend hosted his wedding at the Torrey Pines lodge so I was lucky enough to spend a few nights there... The most amazing experience. The lodge is located at a beautiful area with fresh pines and clean sea breeze from the coasts. Staff is professional and provide top notch service and hospitality. Food is heavnely and first class. The rooms are spacious neat and clean. A bit pricy but well worth every penny, nice to let loose and spoil yourself once a while.
Amazing place, but I was almost run down by employees driving the gas powered golf carts like lunatics, one was a groundskeeper and one was a young lady with long black hair. Must be they get paid for running people down... crazy, not sure how management trains them but SLOW DOWN!
The course was in excellent condition. The highlight was two groups of men almost getting in a fist fight a hole over. Heard them yelling “F you”! Sad they didn’t fight felt very happy Gilmore. No Marshall showed up for that. The North course has beautiful ocean views especially 15 and 16. The negatives: slow play. Didn’t see a Marshall the whole round. Cart beverages non existent. Saw her once and waved her down to get one beer on hole 5. Never saw here again. You can’t buy drinks at the clubhouse so you have to rely on the course beverage cart. Sneak on your own 6 pack at least you can have a cold beer waiting to tee off on several holes. Improve pace of play and frequency of drinks i would raise score.
