The San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge, or provincially the Bay Bridge, is a couple of extensions facilitating the crossing of the San Francisco Bay. As a major aspect of Interstate 80 and the immediate roadway between San Francisco and Oakland, it conveys more or less 280,000 vehicles every day on either of the two decks. It is famous for being one of the longest spanning bridges in the world. Beautiful and elegant, the bay has a lane dedicated to pedestrians and cyclists. There’s even the occasional Light Show.

The Bay Bridge is amazing. It’s almost like one of the sights to look out for when visiting San Francisco. My friends and I took lots of photos making sure the Bay Bridge is reflected in the photo. I was in San Francisco for a training at Mountain View so my will take me for a ride over the Bay Bridge. It was really a beautiful experience.
All around a pretty amazing feat of human ingenuity. Between the Oakland Bay and Golden Gate Bridge I have to say they both equally are a must visit while in San Francisco. The park on the San Francisco side is nice perk to visiting this bridge, and makes for a nice walk. Obviously driving on the bridge is a different beast, but for the sheer awesomeness of its size and design it’s worth 5 stars to me.
Much better than taking the ferry. They should really get rid of the toll takers though. That would make things a lot faster.
Haha, I am reviewing a bridge as seen from afar 😄 As our ship docked at Pier 39, this bridge was very visible from our deck and it was really a sight to behold!!! In the morning with the sun rising as backdrop, it was impressive! And at night with the thousand bridge lights dancing and shining brightly, it was magical!!!
Beautiful bridge both at night and during the day. Recommend crossing the bridge to see the city from Treasure Island, then coming back to the city right before the sunset - awesome view guaranteed!
