Understated from the outside, excellent ambiance on the inside. Well thought-out decor and menu. Some authentic Spanish offerings and unique cocktails. Great for couples.
Not very authentic (kale paella?!) but overall the food is really tasty and the ambience pretty energetic. We went as a big group and tried most menu items, and everything was yummy.
Place is nice atmosphere live music but I ordered the T Bone steak for $50 and it came out with no sides just the steak and 2 cups of butter??? What's the butter for?? The steak was good but not worth it sorry
We loved our first visit to Bellota and plan to return soon. Great food, fun atmosphere, creative cocktails. We loved the seafood paella, served in a large paella pan and enough to share between 4-6 people, especially if you add other dishes.
Amazing Amazing Amazing! Went for a Valentine dinner with 2 other couples. The server recognized one couple with us from a previous visit - always a good start to service when there is a connection made. Even though they have a great wine menu we brought 2 bottles of wine. All dinner selections were delicious and actually very hearty portions for a family style meal. The atmosphere is lively and trendy. The restaurant is big which makes it a bit loud so don't expect to have a quiet dinner - esp on the weekend. However it is exactly what we were looking for. There really is no other restaurant in SF quite like it - excellent tapas, in a large upscale and trendy setting. Definitely a must visit if you have not gone.
