The food us outstanding. We had the pasta tasting menu and it was all incredibly. Bursting with flavors. Remember to ask for some bread to sock up the sauces. It was certainly an expensive meal but worth the treat. In the same area there are a number of fun bars to go to while you wait for your table
Please please please go in an empty stomach or not. The food is so good. The flavor, the smell, the texture. Tip: if you go hungry take your time lol. We did and enjoyed it a lot more.
I took my now wife here on our first date. The food is great we love the pasta and pizzas but the best is the chocolate budino. The service is spectacular as they are always friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is warm and inviting.
I went here with my boyfriend for our anniversary. He is an Italian-American from New York, and I think that Flour+Water may have convinced him that there is incredible, creative Italian on the West Coast, too! We got the pasta tasting menu, and everything was bursting with flavor. It was certainly a splurge, but the whole meal was so outstanding that is was all worth it . Even though the menu contained nuts, they accommodated a nut allergy very well. Our dinner was such a treat. I decided what day we wanted to go out and checked opentable regularly to see if there was an opening. We got lucky and booked a reservation a few days before.
Excellent Italian food! I was in a group and we had reserved the room at the back called the dough room, where the pasta is made. Perfect room for a group. Nice size and ambience.
