There’s an inside joke to the sandy playground’s name: there is no Henry M. Jackson. Rather, the area takes its name from the three streets that surround it: Henry, Madison and Jackson. Like so many other places around San Francisco, the sense of community around this playground is strong. Check out the murals on the park walls for example; the mosaics were made and mounted by the neighbourhood children, with help from the local artist Josh Sarantitis. Picnic spots, tennis courts, basketball courts and two ball fields round off the park’s fun quotient.

Henry M. Jackson Playground Reviews & Ratings
A big, spacious grassy park with a couple of softball/baseball fields, tennis courts , basket ball court , and children’s fenced play area. Lovely place for picnics , to lay out on a sunny day, great place to have lunch if you work close by, awesome for taking your dog to run around and socialize with other dogs !!!
It's a really nice park! They have playground and bathrooms if you need it. Good area for kids (all age) and to the other side has a big ground for play, nice one to go!
Such a great park in the middle of almost nothing but warehouses. This wonderful surprise is rather large and includes 2 baseball fields with a kids playground and garden all on one. There is plenty of room to lay on the grass and watch the clouds roll by or if you feel like it, hop on a bleacher and watch the game. Great for sunny afternoon lunch breaks or the grab and go coffee.
It's always good to have a nice park in the area
It’s very good for many Ride share driver to have a break and use the restroom. And it’s always seen clean and maintained the restroom.
