It was a great little renovated hotel in the middle of the city. A little bit shady at night, but where is it not when in the city! They offer garage parking at a cheaper cost than other places. Got a great deal on a room and wasn't disappointed with the amenities. The size of the room was pretty small but wasn't too big of a deal since we weren't there all day! No restaurant but the front desk gave some options for delivery.
The single queen bed room is small but cozy and very modern feeling. The entire place is very chic. Location is very central in the city but the immediate neighborhood isn't great. I took a ride share 1-2 miles in whichever direction when going out. Overall, it's a clean bed in a hip building with everything you'd expect.
Nice and new. Clean place. Friendly staff. Accommodations are up to date. Rooms are small. The neighborhood isn't the greatest. It definitely did the job. I'd liken it to a posh hostel.
When we first arrived late at night staff were friendly and helpful. The room was fairly small something not used to though was our first trip to San Fran but it was comfortable and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was good too. Location wise was great an easy walk around and quick uber to the waterfront
Look, San Francisco is a very expensive place as it is. This hotel is conveniently located close to all the places you want to go, but way more affordable than what's out there. Considering parking is anywhere from 50 to 75+ per night in most hotels here, HOTEL EPIK takes care of both, your stay in a nice/comfortable room, and 40 bucks valet parking all night. No complaints, rooms could be bigger but then again you should be out sight seeing. DO IT. :)
