Hotel Griffon, San Francisco Reviews - Write a Review
Wonderful boutique hotel....great location...can walk downtown easily as well as to the Pier...easy to access street cars and main routes to get just about anywhere without being trapped on one ways and dead ends. Charming rooms. Great service
Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was clean. The view of the bay bridge out of our window was breathtaking, but only certain rooms have the view. Parking was easy.
Close to everything, we walked everywhere. Great food nearby and Perry's is in the same building. Rooms are on the small side and you have to retest one with a window with a view, special small hotel.
This place calls itself a boutique hotel. The room I have that I am spending way too much money for is smaller than my smallest bedroom. The bathroom is barely the size of my laundry room. So for the price, the value for this hotel isn't there. The staff has been nice. The building is an older building from 1906 to 1907. But I will not be coming back. Too disappointing for the amount of money I spent.
The room was fancy and well cleaned, though much smaller than expected. The tech touches like a visitor camera, tablet for alarm or web browsing, and HDMI/Bluetooth/USB ports for the TV were awesome.
