  • This is my go-to place every time I visit San Fran. They have prime rib and more prime rib. Can’t go wrong. They keep their menu simple but delicious. Staff is friendly and always helpful. Never a bad experience and always making sure everything is going well. Tons of staff around to help you have take care of you. All they have is prime rib so if you are here for something else, you will be disappointed. But the name is House of Prime Rib so that should give it away. They have sides like corn, mashed potatoes, baked potato and spinach but main course is Prime Rib. My favorite cut is the English cut. Thin sliced to to get as much to the juice as possible and always tasty. Never had any issues with their food. Always love it and always wanting to come back for more but I’m always full after one plate. The only downside is the wait but also a good thing because you know the food is good. I get there early and the wait can be over an hour but worth it. The restaurant is huge but it’s such a popular restaurant with good food, everyone wants to go there. As of Oct2019, the reservation wait is 3 months but I travel on short notice so I can’t plan 3 months so o just go there early and wait.

  • Came here for my anniversary with my boyfriend and this place did not disappoint!! 1. You should make a reservation - my boyfriend made ours 2 months in advance 2. Ambiance of the restaurant reminds me of a speak easy bar 3. Service here is fantastic! 4. Food was AMAZING!! Salad they make is delicious. I got the small cut of prime rib and it just melts in your mouth, I got the cream corn and it was yummy, the Yorkshire pudding was fluffy and good. For what you pay it's totally worth it!! If anything it's worth coming here once and trying the prime rib out.

  • This is a fine dinning place that pays no attention to ambiance. Service was great, food was amazing, but the restaurant needs update. Especially the AC system. This is a unique dinning experience for Prime Rib. The prime rib is cooked to perfection and carved next to the table. Portion is generous. Price is a bit on the higher side, but within the range of fine restaurants in San Fran. We enjoyed it, just wish the room temp has been a bit cooler in such a packed restaurant.

  • Our waiter was delightful, personable and professional. The prime rib was good. I requested an end piece it made a huge difference. Mine was tender and savory. The Creamed corn and creamed Spinach, while tasty, didn’t belong on the plate. It looked messy. They don’t serve soft drinks, just water or alcohol and their menu is simple. It includes Prime Rib in various portion sizes, house salad and creamed spinach or corn. Mashed or baked potatoe.

  • Very tasty. It's been several years since I have been here. The place is packed and still delivers award winning prime rib. Service was very good. Would definitely come back again!
