Marin Headlands, San Francisco Reviews - Write a Review
Absolutely breathtaking along with providing a lot of history for those that know nothing about the area or what it was used for. It is very difficult however to find an area to park and it is not easily navigated for anyone that is not capable of walking or that is not steady on their feet.
One of the best parks in California.
A spectacular view of the Golden Gate Bridge, Bay Bridge and downtown San Francisco in the background
In my opinion the Marin Headlands has the absolute best view of San Francisco. On a day when the clouds are out to sea make sure you drive across the golden gate and visit here. The hillside has old fortifications leftover from WW2 which are fun to explore. I could have spent all day here sunning on a warm day. This is an absolute must see location if you are visiting the region.
Love the views of the city and ocean and also angel island.
