  • Almost nothing vegetarian on the menu, one appetizer and one entrée -- which is strange for a place named after a cactus leaf. Drinks are expensive and weren't great or even especially strong. The mole was good. Atmosphere was cluttered and there was a wait. It's a nice location but I'm not sure why we'd go here again vs literally anywhere else for food. They didn't mistreat us and the food wasn't bad, it just wasn't cheap and wasn't great. So why then go here at all? I'm confused.

  • This place is delicious! The fish tacos were well-cooked and creatively flavored, and the entomatadas were simple yet satisfying. The best part of the meal was the flan, however. I don't know what they do to make it taste so good, but I've never had anything like it! Their margaritas are also great, and they don't skimp on the tequila! I definitely recommend this place!

  • A real treat. We were just driving by and found parking in front of Nopalito so we went in. Often hard to find reservations here, this place is always busy and I can eat here anytime. Always start with a pitcher of margaritas and two tacos. Excellent waitstaff, thoughtful food, high quality experience. You got to come here.

  • Really superb Mexican food with the freshest ingredients. Everything is superb. They have another location in SF, but this one is my favorite (and it is the only one of the two that offers their superb Mexican hot chocolate, which I highly recommend). The open kitchen is a really nice feature. Bar seating is also nice.

  • This was a great stop for lunch on our trip to San Francisco. It is right across the street from the park and reasonably priced for lunch. They have quite a few options and it was nice to site and take in the sights. I'd recommend the fish tacos and the little chick peas are delicious and spicy to start!
