John W. Nordstrom struck it somewhat lucky in the Gold Rush back in 1900's, and used the money to open a shoe store. Today, his name has set an impressive quality benchmark in personal styling - apparel, shoes and accessories. This department outlet is one of their best and one of their largest. The mall is also famous for its spiral escalator, which was the first in USA. Aside from shopping, the best reason to visit the mall is the people watching. For if you’re shopping here, you’ve got good taste.

Nordstrom Reviews & Ratings
I went here to get my wife some perfume for our anniversary. The customer service was excellent. They did not treat me like I didn't belong there they went through he perfume and let me smell them all without getting agitated. When I found the one I wanted they were really helpful in packaging it up for me. As I walked around the store staff was always there asking if they could help me but not pushing me to buy something.
I’ve visited this place when I was vacationing in San Francisco California in July. It was an amazing experience with great customer service as always!! I found some great things. I just wish that the anniversary sale had been going on for public access customers at the time.
Great service good selection kinds of designers. Much better then most of other stores across the country. Always enjoy visiting the store. The only complaint is the selection is not that much.
Bistro view was spectacular, however; quality of food was par.
Not enough selections, and the shoe department is lacking in service. The makeup counter has some nice merchandise, but the staff that man are pretentious. Honestly, not my favorite place to go. I get treated better at Bloomingdales and Macy’s .
