This hill may be the city’s favourite place to stay. It has great views, a family friendly atmosphere, a great bar scene, and the best weather in the city. It is one of the most racially diverse areas in the city. It has some excellent restaurants. The best way to check it out is to spend an afternoon walking the area. Colourful and charming, it has many little streets and small gardens. It’s the sort of place you would love if you are a reader. At evening, look north to downtown – the view is clear, yet the image so far, it feels like looking into another world. The 18th street is the neighbourhood’s main shopping area.
