The Pub, San Francisco Reviews - Write a Review
Delicious meal, rivaled BBQ with a 3 hour line in Texas!! Atmosphere was very nice and our waitress was fantastic. We shared a 3 meat plate for two and still took home leftovers. Our meal was also less expensive than two gheridelli ice cream Sunday's. If you're in the neighborhood don't miss this place, share a meal and cut back on the ice cream and chocolate you won't regret it.
Great (and fast) service. Went there on Sunday at 1:30p and they were serving brunch (breakfast, lunch items), had not wait and food arrived very quickly. We ordered the bbq burger (burger, crispy fried onion (straw type), bacon, house BBQ sauce, pictured below) and regular burger (burger, bacon) with fries and both were fantastic. Ask for BBQ on the side if you want to keep it cleaner but there's plenty of sinks upstairs to wash your hands if you want to just dig in and get sloppy! Also they serve coke products and our waitress Emily was great. Terrific view the bay and Alcatraz.
Bit late writing this but... where was I when the Cubs won the World Series? Here! First time and the food and atmosphere where amazing. Best BBQ pub grub in San Fran!
Excellent ribs and brisket! Very smokey, with tangy sauce. Great beans and mac & cheese! My kids loved their pulled pork and hamburger.
I got to say this place is so good! I had the pulled pork platter with jalapeno slaw and mac and cheese jalapeno slaw is a little spicy so if you don't like spiciness I don't recommend it, the mac and cheese was very delicious with a lot of sauce on top very well done. The only thing I was not too happy with was it tortilla soup, it was actually really Bland and it tasted burnt. But then they give us a side of chili to try and that was actually really delicious so I will go with the chili next.
