San Francisco’s theatrical history received a major fillip from this theatre. In the 1920s, it was the premier vaudeville performance centre. Later, it gained greater prominence as a music venue, especially rock music. It has hosted legends such as Al Jolson, Louis Armstrong, Bob Dylan, Greatful Dead, Guns n’ Roses, and Charlie Chaplin. The main reason for the theatres popularity is its 2250 seating capacity, and the terrific acoustics. Also, visit the popular attractions in the city by following San Francisco itinerary 6 days.

Warfield Theater Reviews & Ratings
Classic venue in the heart of downtown. Plenty of spots to chill and see the band from afar but also lots of room to get into the pit in GA. They keep the air cool and flowing during the shows which is important. They have awesome weird beer cups that fill from the bottom and plenty of bars all over the place. Also restrooms are small but everywhere. This is a huge venue so get there early and prepare to hang outside with Market St. before you get in.
Getting in was quick and easy. The security wasn't invasive. After we got in, finding seats and bathrooms were easy. The sound was great.
One of my favorite local concert venues. It's a short walk from BART and there are places to eat and drink nearby. They also sell food and cocktails in the venue.
The Warfield is a great place to catch acts. Good acoustics on the floor or upstairs. Like the Filmore, its staff is comprised of a lot of "lifers" who really care about their work, their venue, your happiness and your safety. Intimate venue where you are up closer and fairly personal with your favorite performers.
Cool place. a San Francisco establishment. Don't sit orchestra. The seats aren't stepped up. Hard luck if you get a tall person in front of you.
