  • This place was the best. The sushi is so fresh that fresh itself got put out of business. The service is a little slow, and it does smell a little fishy like as in fish, but overall the fish is amazing! It melts in your mouth and not on your chopsticks. Fancy but not to fancy, and it is inexpensive which is great on a Friday night when the family is tired. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good sushi restaurant.

  • Excellent quality of fresh fish and some great unique dishes not available elsewhere. Check their menu and daily specials board! The portions tend to be generous as well. The sushi bar is small so be prepared and make a reservation if that's what you want.

  • At the back of this unassuming restaurant is a bar manned by Roger, the upbeat chef who will detail everything you are about to eat, with stories, facts and even instructions on how to get the best taste with every bite. I had the Omakase and though it is quite expensive ($100/person) you can ask for a smaller budget. This was truly the best Sushi experience I have ever had. Plate after plate I was amazed at what Roger can do. I was beyond satisfies at the end, having gone to new places with sushi. This will become a staple whenever I am in town, it is absolutely an amazing experience. Make sure to make reservations if you want space at the bar, there are only 8 seats.

  • Best sushi in the city (if you’re sitting at the bar). This man is a legend, and I’m always blown away by the flavors, freshness and quality of his selections. Don’t be fooled by the humble look of the restaurant, I’ve lived in japan for many years, and this is some of the finest sushi in the world. Thank you Rodger

  • Busy, slow service, but food that’s worth the wait
