The Cheesecake Factory, San Jose Reviews

  • My husband and I really enjoy eating at any Cheese Cake Factory location. The food is always great and this location did not disappoint. Love it! Unfortunately, as some of the other reviews mentioned the issue are the hosts/waitress. In my case was the host; when we walked in I was hoping to be greeted with a smile, instead the lady never ever looked up to address me, in fact she never say hi back to me, even though I smiled looked at her and said a clear "Hi!". She just kept looking down and ask me how many. If she would of bothered to look she would of noticed it was the two of us walking in. Anyways, she never paid attention so we sat to wait. Luckily, our waitresses and person leading us to our table were SUPER nice. Thank you!

  • We have been here numerous times and the food is always great. However the staff here needs to be trained better to avoid conscious/unconscious bias. We ordered an entree, a main course and drinks. The waitress asked my husband if he wanted refill (not free) Basically it would be a second order for his drink. Whereas I had ordered a coke which had free refills, for which she didn't bother asking if I needed a refill. Secondly towards the end, she asked if we would like to order desserts, and since we were already full, we declined. She promptly handed the check to us, which was really weird. How did she already know we wouldn't order desserts and hence bought the check with her at that time itself? This behaviour was really strange.

  • I went here a few weeks ago and really enjoyed the food and beautiful restaurant. My only gripe would be that the servers/waitresses could stand to brush up a little bit more on their customer service. The two waitresses that we had (yes, two, because our initial waitress went on lunch twenty minutes after we sat down and another member of the waitstaff took over) were a bit short with us, but I don't think it was mean-spirited. It was dinnertime on a Friday night and SUPER busy. No excuse, though. However, I will go back again because the food was top notch!

  • I had a good experience at the Cheesecake factory, they have lot of options in menu for non vegetarians. I found limited options for myself ( for a vegetarian). But that's okay I liked my pasta which I ordered. The quantity was good for two people. This place is very crowded, they made us wait for 15 minutes. The staff is quick, the services are good. I would be visiting this place again, next time to have cheesecake.

  • Great food, service, drinks. I enjoyed it so much. 21 page menu so make sure you have time. The interior is ( the paintings all over) absolutely beautiful and so clean not a spec of dust.
