If you’re looking for a place for your kids to let off some steam and have fun then this is the perfect pit stop. Museo del nino is more a fun park than a museum. Carmen Vega a Harvard graduate had a dream for a place just for kids to play and enjoy. With a humble beginning of $100 she raised funds for her project and within a short span of time she managed to collect about $25,000. She opened the museum in 1993 and in its first year they received about 45,000 kids.
The building has about three floors of fun filled activities like a separate News studio for children where even parents can participate, NASA space, simulated caves and many more interactive and educative exhibits. There are also craft workshops teaching children to make crafts from recycled waste.
