The 11.4 kilometre moderate hike of Islay Creek Trail near the Lake Osos is blessed with magnificent bayviews and a plethora of wildflowers laden on the path. Hiking at an elevation of 1525 feet through a canyon protected by the towering peaks standing like sentinels, will be thoroughly enchanting. The Islay Creek Trail starts at the mouth of the Islay Creek Canyon where it meets the sea. The Spooner’s Ranch House acts as the visitor center of the park and you will get to know about the tit-bits from here. The highlight of the trail is the three mile dirt trail laden with sycamores. The Valencia Peak and the Hazard Peak are seen from here.
