SLOSA Rifle & Pistol Range Reviews & Ratings

  • Excellent range for rifles and handguns just certain staff on weekends give off a very unwelcoming vibe to younger marksmen and constantly nitpick them for every last little thing they can. Staff during the weekdays though are very friendly and inviting to all shooters plus give tips to improve aim if asked. Overall customer service is key and weekend staff (especially Sunday staff) need a customer service course to make everyday a good experience for all shooters young and old alike.

  • Fun place. Did 5 hours of trap shooting for a work party. Lot's of fun.

  • This place is awesome and I had alotta fun here. I like that they are strict on the rules to keep everyone safe. It would be great if they had dividers or nets to block your neighbors shells from hitting you, its not that bad but it could be kinda annoying sometimes.

  • Always an awesome time with great people. And far more affordable than any horrible in door range. Once you start shooting steel you won't go back to paper. Worth the hour drive for me.

  • Flat distances to 100 yards. The rest of the range goes up hill but can shoot up to 300 yards. They do fire breaks every 20 minutes, which for me can be a little long. The staff is usually helpful but can get a little aggressive. Such as my Remington 700 had jammed and could not get the bolt to release. They looked at it and brought it back and then I got yelled at for not having it unloaded during fire break. Gave them the rifle again and they kept brining it back and yelling at me for not having unloaded rifle. Costs $20 a person unless your a member, then it's $10. Membership is $50 a year
