Palace of the Count of Francos was ordered to be built in the mid-seventeenth century by Francisco Ramos del Manzano. The palace was donated to the Servants of San José and . In 1977 important reforms took place in the Plaza de San Román. It expropriated and demolished a house that occupied the greater part of the space and the square was enlarged incorporating the lot and the old street Murillo. In this new space, a few steps were built and on the back facade of the School Siervas de San José was installed and a gallery, which was inside the school, next to the baroque window of the church of San Román.
