About La Concha Beach, San Sebastian
This is the heart of San Sebastian and also one of the finest beaches of Europe. There is more than one specialty of this beach. Playa de La Concha is named like that due to its shell shape on the on the Bay of La Concha.
The main features that attract tourists to this beach are the lovely climate and the clean waters apart from the convenient location. La Concha Beach, San Sebastian Reviews - Write a Review
A calm place with a very nice view of the town. There is also a small garden where ppl can sit on the grass or benches and enjoy the view.
The sun was out, the bay looked stunning and we did as the locals do and went promonading! In this stunning city this is a must do. On Sunday it felt like we were in the power walking capital of Europe! Fab spot.
The beach is crowded and not very impressive. There are no waves, because the beach is located at the bay. Still, its nice to take a swim when visiting San Sebastian town center.
Pretty beach. Moderate swimming spot, a little too gentile for hard core swimmers.
There is a good reason why it has been called "The Pearl of the Cantabric Sea"
