This is a beautiful promenade that circles the Mount Urgull. It starts from San Sebastian Aquarium and ends at the Old Town. It is one of the most beautiful avenues as you can take a stroll directly around the La Concha Bay and the Cantabrian Sea.

The best way to explore this area is by walking. It takes around 45 minutes to an hour to cover the whole distance by foot if you start from the Port and end at Kursaal. It is also a quiet area with less noise of cars and people. Apart from the view the place is also known for the giant waves that crash across the rim of the promenade during rough tides. It is a visual treat but of course you also need to be very careful at this time. Last but not the least another notable attraction here is a famous sculpture by Jorge Oteiza.
