This beach is extremely popular amongst people mainly because it is perfect for practicing a number of sports especially surfing. The beach was earlier known as the Gros Beach and was mostly filled with people from the Gros apart from the tourists and other locals. This beach has played host to many World Championships.

You will majorly find young people in the main part of the beach playing and practicing surfing, beach volley. There is also a serene part of the area just on the right side of the beach. This is more popular with families and people who do not like to be in crowded areas.

  • The right side of the Dike where you will find the Beach- Volleyball courts is a more dangerous part for swimming, especially for children. The current is too high in this part and high tides are also common.
  • Locker rooms, showers, beach shacks and bars are available here.

  • Bus numbers : 8, 17, 40 and 41 till Zuriola 36

  • Lots of people, but still plenty of space to have room for yourself. Very clean beach, mix of ages, clothing optional (and respectful and chill in regards to this).

  • A fantastic place and great music good beer and a great place for surfers and all ages

  • A beautiful park. Lovely walk along the River to get here. Splendid flowers in the Park. A pond with turtles. Beautiful perfumes.

  • One of the best beaches. Watch the waves especially at end of the day, the beach disappears quickly.

  • My favorite beach in San Sebastian. Clean not very crowded clean and perfect waves
