Lone Hill Municipal Nature Reserve Reviews & Ratings
A quiet park, although small it has a charming quality to it. A great place for a hike up the koppie or a relaxed picnic. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and looking to experience a bit of nature in an otherwise urban setting. It's close proximity to the Lonehill park and shopping centre mean that refreshments and peaceful picnic spots are within easy walking distance.
One of the most beautiful public parks in Johannesburg and a hidden pocket of nature in the otherwise suburban Lonehill. Great outing for family and pets, clean and well maintained and doesn't seem to attract rowdy visitors. A place I will be visiting frequently!
Lovely park that’s very family friendly. Had a great time there playing with my daughter & she found having other kids there fun too. Great for families this place. Good facilities too. Thumbs up!
It's a fairly decent park but is best suited for small to medium sized dogs. Some visitors do not clean up after their dogs.
Amazing nature reserve, plonk in the middle of an upscale suburb! It has a huge amazing rock formation and a pond with good fishing. It also gives you an amazing opportunity to see life passing by
