Spanning across a whopping 3,200 acres, the Pickerel Creek Wildlife Area is full of adventure opportunities for those who love the wild. Lots of woods, wetlands, brushes and native grasslands, that have accommodated some of the most exquisite wildlife. The “high quality freshwater estuarine habitat” is a unique one, which is a primary reason why such a humungous number of wildlife of diverse kinds have made this place their home. A great place for bird watchers too; given the number of herons, kites, and eagles in the vicinity.

  • Great place to do a controlled hunt. Didn't shoot many ducks but the marsh was well maintained although water levels were a little low. All in all a good experience with my dad.

  • No way to access, no maps, no one around to help. So typically of the Ohio dnr. More interested in giving tickets instead of helping the paying puplic
